Selling products

Sell products directly from your Vashana site. E-commerce is available on all plans, including Free, through two providers:

• Snipcart — a full cart-and-checkout that lives on your site.
• Stripe — product blocks that send buyers to a Stripe-hosted checkout via Payment Links.

You bring your own provider account; payments go straight to you. Vashana takes no cut of your sales.

Connecting a provider

Open Content → Store & checkout in the editor and pick your provider. The connect form explains exactly which keys to paste and where in the provider's dashboard to find them, step by step, and checks them against the provider before saving. Only your provider's public key is stored on the site itself; anything secret is encrypted and never published.

For Stripe, use a restricted API key (the form tells you which permissions it needs). Once connected, Vashana can read your Stripe product catalog and fill your shop section automatically.

Set the shop currency in the same panel.

Adding products to the page

Add a product section to your page (via Content → Add a section or by asking the AI). Each product card shows name, image, price and a buy button:

• With Snipcart, the button adds to a cart on your site.
• With Stripe, the button opens Stripe's hosted checkout.

Product data (names, prices) comes from your provider and is refreshed each time you publish, so a price change there reaches your site on your next publish without any editing.

Testing your shop

Both providers have test modes — use test keys while setting up, then swap in live keys when you're ready to sell. Publishing with a secret or placeholder key in place is blocked, so a half-finished setup cannot go live by accident.
