Getting started
Vashana builds and hosts your website for you, with AI doing the heavy lifting. This guide takes you from a blank account to a live site.
1. Create an account
Go to vashana.com and sign up with Google, GitHub, Facebook or your email address. The Free plan needs no payment details and includes 2 creations, 250 MB of storage and 500 monthly AI credits.
On first sign-in you pick a handle — a short name that becomes part of your free site addresses ({site}-{handle}.vashana.com). You can change it later under Profile, but every existing free address changes with it, so pick one you can live with.
2. Set up a brand
Everything you create belongs to a brand — your business or your personal identity. When you create your first site you'll be asked for a few brand facts: the name, what you do, contact details, and optionally a logo.
You only enter these facts once. Every site you create under the brand inherits them, so you are never asked twice.
3. Create your first site
From the dashboard, press + New creation on the brand you want it under, and pick what to make — a website, a site that takes bookings, a landing page, portfolio, CV, blog, event page and more. Describe what you want in a sentence or two, and the AI plans, designs and builds the whole site: pages, sections, text and images.
A build typically takes a couple of minutes. You can watch the progress live.
4. Refine it
The editor puts your site on the canvas with three doors beside it:
- Look — colours, fonts, motion and images.
- Content — sections, pages, bookings, store, chat, languages, cookies and files.
- Ask — describe a change in plain words ("make the hero darker", "add a pricing section").
Click any section in the preview to edit its text in place, or to move, restyle or delete it.
See the Editor guide for the full tour.
5. Publish
Press Publish in the editor. Your site goes live on a free vashana.com address within seconds. Use Open site in the editor menu (or View on the dashboard) to see it live.
