Site translation

Publish your site in several languages. Vashana translates the whole site in one pass and serves each language on its own URL path (for example /de/ for German).

Adding a language

Open Content → Languages in the editor, pick a language from the catalog (34 available, from Norwegian and German to Japanese and Ukrainian) and start the translation. The AI translates all your pages and sections while keeping the design untouched. Translating costs credits, in proportion to how much text your site has.

When you publish, each language version goes live under its own path. Visitors get:

  • a language picker on the site,
  • a polite suggestion banner when their browser language matches an available translation (never a forced redirect),
  • correct hreflang tags so search engines index each language properly.

Updating translations

Translations are snapshots: if you change the original site, re-run the translation for each language you want updated. The panel marks a language as out of date once the original has moved on, so you can see at a glance which ones need a re-run. Re-translating an existing language is always allowed, on every plan, and does not count as adding a new one.

Removing a language deletes its pages from the site the next time you publish.

What is not translated

Product data from your connected shop, custom embedded scripts and the cookie-consent text stay in the original language.
